Austin Sewing Club Eid and Women’s Day
Higgins Partnerships were pleased to support the Austin Sewing Club by providing a £140.00 donation towards the purchase of fabrics for their International Women’s Day & Eid Celebration. The event, held on Monday 07th April 2025, brought together the Austin Sewing Club members from the local community, who proudly wore the handmade garments that they created through our donation. Higgins Partnerships joined the warm and welcoming gathering that celebrated creativity, culture and community spirit.
The event highlighted the Sewing Club’s impact in promoting mental health support, social cohesion and providing a safe space for women. Attendees shared stories and experiences, and our team were treated to a meal prepared by members of the club.
