Yoga Event

Higgins and the Austin Road Sewing Club partnered up to support free yoga sessions within the community.

There were 6 free sessions of yoga funded by Higgins Partnerships that was held at the Regeneration Hub in Hayes Town Centre.

A statement from the Clubs secretary:
“We would like more yoga sessions as they felt significantly better after the yoga sessions both physically and mentally. Their general well-being and stress levels improved due to the yoga and breathing techniques. We really hope that Higgins can fund us further yoga sessions as the benefits are so great.”

Our Resident Liaison Officer participated in the sessions alongside residents and members of the sewing club and she stated, “The benefits of the yoga was far reaching
and was positive for all the participants.”
