Hoarding Artwork Project

Hoarding Artwork Project

As part of the social value commitments linked to the Hayes Town Centre and Avondale Drive developments, Higgins Partnerships collaborated with Minet Infant & Nursery and Minet Junior Schools and Botwell House RC Primary School to deliver hoarding artwork projects that engaged students in a creative and educational initiative.

We invited the schools to contribute artwork for display on site hoardings of the Avondale Drive and Hayes Town Centre projects.

Minet Infant & Nursery showcased self-portraits in the style of Picasso, while Minet Junior School selected the theme “What Makes Me Happy” through a student-led assembly. A total of 22 A3 pieces were chosen from each school and displayed on the hoardings. Students at Botwell House RC Primary School, created their artworks on a diverse range of themes such as Environment, What’s Cooking and Green Spaces.

Both installations aimed to involve local schools in a creative way, giving children the opportunity to see their artwork displayed in the community and take pride in their contributions.
