Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge College (HRUC) Careers Fair

The Skills for Life Careers Fair
As part of the project social value, Higgins is proud to have supported HRUC in their Skills for Life Careers Fair to advertise our current roles while also promoting the apprenticeships that we will be offering to local Hillingdon residents throughout the development.
The event was part of the governments National Apprenticeship Week Campaign held 6th – 12th February 2023.
The job fair provided us with the opportunity to give students and parents insight into the construction industry and the range of roles and pathways into this sector. We were also able to promote the earn while you learn benefits of apprenticeships in general. Students and parents got their questions and concerns answered to gain a better understanding and to find out how to apply or gain work experience.
Partnership Working
Hosting a stand at events like this enables Higgins to further help and stay committed to bringing new skills into the local community we are working in.
We hope to continue to develop on our partnership with HRUC and other education providers in the borough to deliver apprenticeships, training and new skills and knowledge to local residents.
“Thank you so much for taking part in our Careers and Apprenticeship Fair last Thursday 9th February and making the event such a success.” Jo Withers – College Principal (Harrow)
